Lincoln Fun Bus is all about having fun and giving the children a party to remember. Whilst most of the information contained within is common sense, to put your mind at ease we felt it necessary to list our terms and conditions and rules of play as well as some other important information. This will ensure both the safety and satisfaction of all of our guests. It also let's you know what to expect from us and what we expect from you and the children. Our aim is to deal with all our customers in a friendly and professional manner, so if you have any questions or concerns then please let us know.
Hirer - is the person booking the services of the Lincoln Fun Bus for themselves and all members of the group and is the person named on the signed booking form
Seller- is Lincoln Fun Bus (LFB) and we agree to sell the services of the LFB to the Hirer subject to all the Terms & Conditions
Provisional Booking Form - is the document that is completed, signed and returned by the Hirer to the seller in order to make a booking with LFB
Terms & Conditions - are the terms and conditions under which the Seller agrees to do business with the Hirer
Staff - is the bus driver/conductor or any other persons that are employed by Lincoln Fun Bus
Terms & Conditions
LFB will supply a service to the Hirer and the Hirer will pay for the service in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. The Hirer must accept the Terms & Conditions.
Any changes to the Terms & Conditions will be put in writing by the LFB to the Hirer. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to translate the Terms & Conditions of the LFB to all members of the group to make sure that these are being adhered to.
Booking & Payment
A booking is made when the LFB is in receipt of the signed Provisional Booking Form and the full £30 deposit (or the amount as per the terms agreed on your booking form) has cleared in the LFB's account, This deposit is non-refundable.
The Booking Form must be completed accurately and clearly and return to LFB within 7 days of receipt by the Hirer. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reserved date and time.
Once LFB has received the Provisional Booking Form and deposit from the Hirer, they will receive a Confirmation of Booking document which details the balance remaining and how to pay. Full balance of payment is due 14 days before the party.
Should you need to cancel after this time, you will receive either 50% of the booking cost (excluding the deposit) or be offered a credit for another party at a time convenient to both parties within 3 months of the original party date. If we need to cancel of any reason, you will receive a full refund.
Please note it is your responsibility to ensure access is available for the vehicle at your chosen location. Our driver will endeavour to find the most suitable route to your location but we cannot be held responsible for having to cancel the party due to us not being able to gain access.
Consideration must be given to low bridges less than 13'9"/4.4m or any overhanging trees or other obstructions preventing access for the vehicle. Weight limits and road widths must also be considered.
The vehicle will normally arrive at the address given on the Booking Form 10-15 minutes prior to the time confirmed. The Hirer should ensure that there is ample room to park the bus at the chosen location. We require around 5 car parking spaces to manoeuvre and park the vehicle on a flat surface with safe access being available to and from the vehicle.
LFB cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by parking on any private driveways or any plots of land deemed large enough to park the vehicle when parking in such places at the instruction of the Hirer. The driver has the right to refuse to park the vehicle at any site deemed to be unsuitable.
If the vehicle is booked to a location other than the Hirers address, it is the Hirers responsibility to gain permission and pay any costs incurred for the vehicle to park at this venue.
Whilst every effort will be made to arrive at the venue on time, LFB will not be responsible for any delay in reaching the venue due to roadworks, traffic chaos or other highway hazard and no refund will be given.
The last thing we want is to disappoint a child or let down a valued customer, unfortunately just like any vehicle our bus may occasionally feel unwell! We have the vehicle serviced and maintained regularly to try to avoid this, if we do have a mechanical issue we will contact you ASAP and still aim to get to you on your required date. If this is not possible we will arrange another date / time or offer a full refund.
Likewise, if LFB is unable to attend due to extreme weather conditions or any other uncontrollable circumstances then we will contact you ASAP and still aim to get to you on your required date. If this is not possible we will arrange another date / time or offer a full refund.
The Hirer must:
make himself or herself known to the staff upon arrival
ensure no one approaches the vehicle until it has completed manoeuvres, the engine has stopped and the main door is opened. No members of the group are to enter the vehicle until they are requested to do so.
ensure that there are two adults available on the vehicle who are representing the party and that they are responsible for the supervision, safety and wellbeing of the children both during the party and for toilet duties. The care and supervision of the guests remains the responsibility of the Hirer at all times.
make sure that all members of the group have access to toilet and hand washing facilities.
be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by an member/guest of the Hirer's group.
also be responsible for any damage caused to the interior of the vehicle as a result of incitement.
ensure that the group/children/guests do not behave in such a way that puts the safety of others at risk or causes damage to the vehicle.
look after the equipment and ensure that no equipment belonging to LFB is removed from the vehicle at any time.
must leave the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition to the satisfaction of the LFB staff. All rubbish must be cleared and removed from the vehicle by the end of the hire period.
ensure that the Rules of Play regulations as listed below are adhered to at all times.
- ensure that their children/guests leave promptly at the end of the party
Rules of Play
Safety is our number one priority. In order to ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, the following Rules of Play must be adhered to at all times
Smoking is not allowed within the vehicle or around the entrance at any time.
Adults are not allowed to bring hot drinks onto the vehicle.
Parties are for up to 18 children aged 8 years and below.
All children must respect each other and play nicely. Any child or person that we believe to be jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of others or that of the vehicle, will be removed and no refund will be offered. Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated.
Children who are injured or unwell or who have been unwell in the last 24 hours will not be able to play.
Drinks and snack are only permitted within the designated snack area on the lower deck of the bus - drinks will be served in the Lincoln Fun Bus bottles provided.
Chewing gum is forbidden at all times
No animals are allowed on the bus at any time
Outdoor footwear is to be removed upon entering the vehicle - storage for footwear is available on board the bus
Socks must be worn at all times
Suitable clothing should be worn - it is advisable that children have their legs covered to minimise the risk of friction burns on equipment, especially the slide.
All necklaces, chains, bracelets, watches, badges etc. must be removed from party members before play commences
Pens, buckles or any other sharp objects etc. must not be taken into the play areas.
Children must be prevented from rough play, i.e. pushing, grabbing, etc. especially near stairways.
Children should not climb up the slide or throw the balls or blocks..
LFB cannot be responsible for any valuables or personal belongings brought onto the vehicle.
Seller - Lincoln Fun Bus
LFB does not accept responsibility for loss, damage, inconvenience, injury or death from any accident, breakdown or delay attributable to reasons beyond our reasonable control.
LFB's liability (other than death or personal injury resulting from LFB's negligence) for any loss or damage of any nature arising from:
a) any breach of contract
b) any negligence, breach of statutory or other duty on the part of LFB, or
c) in any other way out of or in connection with the non-performance of or purported non-performance of, or failure to perform the services in accordance with the terms and conditions and rules of play is limited to the cost of the booking.
The Hirer is not permitted to cancel this agreement except with written consent of LFB.
Cancellation terms are as follows: 14 days before the party - full refund excluding the non refundable deposit.
Within 14 days - though no automatic refund would be entitled, as a goodwill gesture, LFB will refund 50% of the cost of the party or allow the Hirer credit for another party time convenient to both parties within 3 months of the original party date.
These conditions form the whole agreement between the Hirer and LFB and shall not be removed or varied in any way.
If LFB is in default of any of its obligations hereunder, it shall not be liable where such default is due to any act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Industrial Action, Fire, Flood, Drought, Tempest or other event beyond the reasonable control of LFB. In such circumstances LFB shall give notice to the Hirer wherever possible, and be released from performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent of supervening impossibility prevents or restricts LFB's performance.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and the Hirer consents to exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all matters regarding services.

Social Media Policy
We often use Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to promote Lincoln Fun Bus. We also connect with our customers through the message options attached to these social Media Channels. This is mainly to answer queries regarding bookings.
You should be aware of the following important information:
- When we arrive at a party venue we like to post a picture of the bus in-situ. In addition to this we also like to personalise the post by including the birthday child's name and age. We will, however, ask your permission to post your child's name and age.
- We never take photographs of the children. Any photographs of children appearing on our Social Media Channels have been added by parents and used with their consent.
- Any images that have been added, with parental consent, may be shared across these Social Media Platforms and the Lincoln Fun Bus Website to further promote the business.
- We do not use our personal profiles to connect with customers

We are aware of the need to safeguard young children when they are in contact with others. We are there to support you all and help the party run smoothly, but the children must remain your responsibility at all times.
Some important points to remember:
- Physical contact is kept to a minimum, but we may lift a child, under their arms, to help them on and off the bus or onto the high seat or if they have fallen etc.
- We will alert you to any child who needs the toilet or needs their nappy changing.
- We will assist with children entering and leaving the bus, during the booking, alerting an adult to accompany children when needed.
- Under 3's are welcome but will need their grown-up onboard to assist them.
- The end of the party can be hectic so it's important that you are ready to direct the children as they come off the bus (This may be to their grown-up or into your home/venue). We will alert you 5 minutes before the end of the party.
For everyone's safety and peace of mind we have CCTV recording on the bus at all times.
